Nick

He looks just like me—well, maybe a little bit smaller.

Still, what a fucking miracle. A son. I didn’t think I could have any more of those. And to think, I just so happened to stumble upon him and Ellie by pure chance.

At least one good thing has finally come from this mess with Enzo Barella.

An heir.

Ellie watches me with great suspicion as I approach. She’s clearly not happy to see me, but the same can’t be said about Nicholas. He greets me with a big toothless grin and breathless laughs. I crouch down so that I’m eye level with the two of them.

“Where have you been?” Ellie asks, exhaustion and accusation lacing her voice. I don’t blame her for being weary. It’s been a stressful past few days.

“Busy,” I grumble, reaching for my child.

Ellie tightens her grip around him and turns her shoulder to me. “That’s alright,” she quickly shoots. “I can hold him.”

A little flicker of rage sparks in my cold dead heart, but I don’t push. She’ll come around. I’ll make sure of that.

“Come with me,” I order, standing up. My shadow stretches out across my newly found family.

“Nicholas needs to feed,” Ellie resists.

The comment turns my eyes towards her chest. She’s wearing a modest black t-shirt, tucked into a pair of tight worn-down blue jeans, but even through the bagginess, I can tell her tits are bigger than I remember.

Suddenly, I just want to feel them again. If only she knew just how persistent the memory of her body has been in my mind since that night at the club. Never has a girl stuck so stubbornly to the inside of my skull—well, that’s not true. One other girl has, but there’s no getting that life back.

“You can feed him afterwards. Meredith will look after him while we talk business.”

The concept of leaving Nicholas with someone else seems to spark a railroad of anxiety in my captive. She tugs the little boy even further from my line of sight. “I’m not leaving him. Where I go, he goes, too.”

“False,” I growl. This little back and forth has already gone on long enough. “If you don’t rise this instant, there will be consequences.”

Ellie whips her gaze up to my eyes and a little supernova dances around her dark pupils. It’s obvious she doesn’t appreciate being treated like a child, but if she’s going to throw a tantrum, then that’s just how I’m going to treat her... maybe I’ll even hand her a spanking...

Despite the lust she inspires in me, the second I found out that she’s been harboring an heir of mine, ours became a business relationship. I have no illusions about the state of our affairs. Even if it was gentle, I still kidnapped her, and now I’m going to force her to sign her life over to me—or, at least, his.

Slowly, and with a lingering soreness, Ellie rises onto her feet. A little part of me wants to help her steady herself, but this is no time to give credence to weakness.
